9 month old not using a sippy cup

My 9 month old doesn't use a sippy cup I give him it every few days to try and he just plays with it. I've tried water and formula and he shows no interest anyone else have this problem or has had this problem. We have the Born Free sippy cup with the soft tip.

The soft tip helps....dd took until 10 months or so.

Neither does DD, I dont push the issue.

try a straw. We love the munchkin straw cups.

Kelsey JUST took to hers a couple of weeks ago.  She finally took to the Nuby soft spout ones, but I had to give it to her when she was hungry first thing in the morning.  She refused it a couple of times, but then gave in.  Maybe try that?  GL!

DS refuses to do anything but chew on sippy cups.  We've tried so many different ones, with anything from water to juice to breastmilk.  If he actually gets anything out he makes a face like he's been poisoned and throws it.

DS mostly uses his as a chew toy but will drink from it when he's really thirsty in the morning if it's the first thing I offer to him.

Ditto. DD loves her straw sippy. We have this one. She picked it up really quickly.
