Ended Up in L&D.....

So,  I went for my regular scheduled appointment with my OB and my blood pressure was REALLY high.  With that and the fact I was seeing floaters, she was really worried and sent me over to L&D right away for blood work, an u/s, monitoring, etc.  It was really scary when she said that they would have to get me over here and see if they needed to deliver the baby!  Well, everything is ok with the baby and my blood pressure has come down.  They are keeping in overnight to monitor and I will have to start taking high blood pressure medicine. 

 

Needless to say, I will not be having a garage sale or a pre-party at my house tomorrow night (as complained about in my earlier post "NYE Rant......").  At this point I'm just hoping to be able to still make it for dinner!!!

wow - very scary, I'm so sorry! It's funny how our kids can change our plans on a monents notice even before they are born. Hope things remain stable for you. Good luck!

Wow, how scary! I'm glad it turned out ok. I always have to get my bp taken twice because it's always super high the first time. My mom calls it "white coat syndrome."
