Hi. I am from Indiana but will be visiting my in-laws in Aurora next week. We will be going to the Museum of Science and Industry and are trying to figure out the smartest/cheapest way to get there. We could drive, which of course would take gas money and parking money $16. Or, we could take the Metra train from Aurora to Union Station then take a cab or bus. We have a 7 year old and a 2 year old so I have to keep that in mind too. Any advice for me? Last time we visited the city, we took a bus from Union station to the Shedd with a 5 year old. Thanks!
I would really suggest driving. The MSI is pretty far from the train station. They have a great garage on-site and I would hate to take a bus/cab with little ones in the cold.
