How do you decide when to BD?

I've tried charting but I seriously suck at it. I constantly wake up at different times. I set my alarm but I seem to keep waking up before it goes off in fear of over sleeping. For ladies here who don't chart how do you decide the best time to BD? I was thinking every other day from CD 10 through CD 20? I can always tell when I'm ovulating because of crampiness and CM but what are some other ways to know when its the right time? I'm sorry if this is a dumb question I'm just really getting aggravated with trying to chart and I'm looking for some other options!

I think, many times, the best thing to do is go at it every other day from AF to being late or getting AF

In general we do what Denise said.

Sometimes more, sometimes less. We're still trying to have fun with this....

I just started temping, but have always kept up w/watching cm and charting that. I would suggest to start using opts and do e/o/d until you see a + opt and then make sure you dtd every day until it returns to - and then two more days. (Usually you'll see a + for 1-2 days pre-O, so I would dtd those two days, plus O day, and the day after).

Right now we just do it whenever.  I try to have an idea of when I'm o'ing and then I jump DH a little more than usual!  This is how we got the first BFP so that's what we're doing now.

I temp but I also use the clear blue easy fertility monitor.  I like it because it gives me a couple of extra days to bd.  I get a couple of high days that let me know that O is coming.  Its a little different than a regular opk because they only give you the 2 best days.  CBEFM gives you up to 6 days.

I know that I need to try and relax and let things happen but with only having one tube now I know how important timing it perfectly is which makes it dificult to just enjoy it and not make it so planned out! I'm definitely going to try the opt's. I don't have alot of experience charting because I did it the first month we were TTC and I got pregnant that month with the baby that ended as an Ectopic. So I feel like I'm starting from scratch all over again because now I have no idea what to expect!
