Uhh.... I just locked my keys in the...

trunk of my car... and it is a company car. I don't know if there is an extra in the office- it might be at the boss' house. We are off work for the next 4 days - which means, I might be w/out a car that whole time!

DH is going to go look at our office and see if he can find one....  Is there such thing as car key dust???

Can you get into the car at all?? If so, you should have a trunk release button or fold the back seat down to get into the trunk.

Or call the dealership the car is from. They should be able to help you out.

This! Our mustang has a trunk release button in the glove box! You can also call AAA (if you have it) and they can get it open!

BUMMER! I'm glad I never have to take the key out of my purse no matter what or I'd probably do that ALL the time. Tell your company to invest in some Nissan's with the intelligent key or whatever it's called. Life Saver to the max! Although I do almost forget to turn the car off sometimes... since there's never really a key in the ignition...

This exactly! DH bought me a Cube back in October, and the no-key thing is the greatest invention EVER! I'm guilty of finding the most moronic ways to lock the keys in the car. When my parents bought me my first new car after HS, I was in a neighboring town and locked them in the car with the engine running. Dad was not happy that night! LOL.

I would try to break into the car and open the trunk from the inside of the car.  Your local police department might be able to do it for you (although many won't because of liability issues).  Otherwise a tow truck company should be able to unlock it.
