Why do people from high school, who never ever talked to me IN high school, friend request me?

I mean, duh, it's to up your post count. You think I'm that stupid and desperate? Not now!

    I do only if I want to be nosy and look at their pictures... but most of the time no!

    PS. I used to, but I deleted a bunch of them for posting annoying status updates. And not being my friend for real.

    there is one i accepted just to be nosy but I ended up taking them off because their status messages bothered me (bragging) and I didn't like their better then you attitude in High School

    I'm going with Other. Most of the time I do because I am not sure who the eff they are. If it says my hs I feel bad. What if it was some uber-nerd who knew me?

    This exactly! If we were friends in HS and lost touch, I might try to catch up. But anyone I never talked to them, I certainly don't want them seeing all about my life!

    this exactly.  I've had a couple of really pleasant surprises with people I don't consider friends from high school.  But I've also had some unpleasant reminders that not everyone who gets older matures.
