I was thinking about how I would love to buy land and design my own house **sigh**

SO - if you won the lottery, what EF thing would you have for your dream house?

I want a killer sewing room, not totally EF, I know, but I reuse a lot of stuff when I get to sew.  And a mini-farm sized garden!

Honestly, if we won the lottery, we'd probably buy a slightly bigger house (we only have 2 bedrooms, so if/when #2 comes along, it's going to be tight - it's not a big 2 bedroom...) and if I had my druthers, it'd have wind/solar energy and larger gardens that were actually sunny for veggies.

We would live on about 50 acres, with a huge garden, orchard, a couple of cows, a few sheep, and some chickens.  And people to care for them.  lol

I would buy land and hire a green arch firm -- or that guy Carter Osterhouse? is that his name? greywater system, solar energy, composting, veg and fruit garden, maybe chickens and sheep? and a commercial kitchen so I could bake to sell and have classes.

Sigh... to dream...

I would buy an old farmhouse on some acreage and renovate it.  I'd have a huge garden and donate all excess veggies to the homeless shelter.  They serve crap food there and I feel sorry for all the diabetic homeless people that we tell to eat less sugar and processed food but they can't find any.
