Movies with Emilia FAIL.
1. It started at 12:10 (the earliest showing and the only one I could go too with the kids.) The PrincessFrog.
2. Some grump ass grandmother sat right in front of Emilia. HELLO EMPTY SEATS EVERYWHERE but you choose to sit right in front of the ONLY family in the effin theatre at that time. Big clue lady... when she is already running her mouth a mile a minute, it may not get much quieter?!?!?!?!?
The maniacs were clean, fed, walked.... happy as clams for the first 30 minutes.
Emilia about fliped when the movie started because she knew the first scene (snow white had the first few minutes of the movie.) Thought it would be a breeze her sitting through it.
Soda check
Popcorn check
twizzlers check
30 minutes in she wants to sit on my lap, be rocked, tell me she WUVS me and needs kisses and proceeds to kiss my face. Lady in front starts huffing. Emilia looks at her and blows her a kiss. Turns back to me and is quiet for a while.
This happened every 15 minutes.
She fake cried about 10x and also she spilled her drink on my crotch!
$46 later, a coke crotch I am ready to take a nap and lock my kids in their rooms!
Miles loved it and only had to pee 3x during the movie.
never taking both again.
tired. defeated and cold. boo.
Re: FAIL...............
OMG, I so needed to read this - your torturous experience just made my day
(sooo sorry it didn't go well, but I give you huge kuddos for even trying to go. I'm not that brave yet!)
Your ratio's off. We did two adults to one kid - worked great. ha!
I am sorry - kudos to you to taking two. You are brave.
haaaaaaaaaa oh no, my sister was with us!
Made no difference other than Emilia wanting to go PEEEEEE TOOO MAMA i HAVE TO PEEE TOO.
Hey Emilia, you are wearing a diaper!
You're a great story teller! I can just see it all playing out in my head. *love it*
Sorry your time was crappy, and WOW, grumpy old lady could have moved and sat somewhere else. I wouldn't give her another though.
?I have never taken my kids by myself, I have only done it with DH. ?Sorry it sucked for you!
Yeek. That does not sound fun. Give it a few years. Movies like that used to go down that way with my kids but I took them to princess and the frog by myself on monday and they say all the way through with barely a peep (halfway through Owen wanted to sit on my lap). Sooo maybe try again when they are 6 and 4.
