I have been drinking about a cup or two a day lately trying to stay healthy. I just read online that it can deplete your folic acid? Next month we will offically start ttc again and this made me really nervous. Any opinions or info? Thanks
Something (I can't remember what right now) in green tea interferes with the absorption of folic acid. I usually take my folic acid 4 hours or more from drinking green tea. You can also take extra folic to make up for it.

I also take an extra pill of JUST folic acid right before bed. You can't OD on folic acid, you just pee out any excess that your body doesn't need. So I'd just take some extra to make up for the green tea.
I also drink significantly less green tea during the 2ww. Who knows if it makes a difference, but it makes me feel better.

I leave at least 4 hours btw green tea and PNV.
