oh, and I hate cigarette smoke to the point that I am not friends with smokers and I would rather never set foot inside my ILs house as long as I should live b/c it reeks of smoke so bad.

As a reward to myself for having survived the holidays, yesterday I reread the first three Sookie Stackhouse novels and ate a box of chocolate covered cherries.

And it was totally worth my pants not fitting today from the post-indulgence bloat.

I can't break my coffee addiction, the fact that I bought a bunch of clothes that fit my post-baby belly has me rethinking the whole 'eat healthy, exercise and lose weight' resolution, and I find myself wanting to reach for paper towels more often.  Also, a certain person has always annoyed me.... and as a result, yesterday was fun.

I hate that DH is sick but LOVE that he is too tired to use the laptop (the only computer we have hooked up in the new house), therefore leaving me free to "compute" to my heart's content.

1. DH's facebook statuses make me feel stupid. He's more of a punk-indy-folk-rock guy and a lot of times his facebook status references bands and stuff that I don't recognize. It's embarassing to admit, but I google stuff just so I can know what he's referencing. However, one of my sorority sisters is into the same stuff as DH and she always comments on his statuses... and I feel dumb.

2.  I really really wish DH could grow a beard (so does he, btw. That makes this confession a teeny bit less flameful). Call me crazy, but I think this look is hot:

..but poor ole DH can't grow a beard to save his life. It just grows in all patchy. And it's wintertime and all the guys I know have these awesome beards.... Would I be a bad wife if I put Rogaine on his face while he slept?

I secretly wished that my also-15-weeks-pregnant friend would get food poisoning so she'd be at least a little sick for a day or two.  Everytime I see her she says things like "oh,you look so pale and thin. Poor thing have you tried eating a cracker before you get out of bed?  That really helps me" (umm no water makes me vomit) or "I've been so sick too I gagged REALLY hard like 4 times when I brushed my teeth this morning.  It was so gross. I thought I was going to vomit in the sink" (since I vomit in the sink about 5 times a day just because I cant' make it to the toilet)  or my absolute favorite "Now that you're in your second trimester you should be feeling better.  don't you feel better" (No and thanks for rubbing it in!).  And the saddest part is I still like her a lot.

I had a friend say this to me after I had spent ridonkulous amount of money on filling a zofran perscription. I wanted to swat her upside the head and scream "No really?! You think I didn't try eating a dang cracker first, idiot?!"

I'm secretly happy that Kate needs me to go to sleep.  I only have her as a baby for a little bit and in a few short years she will hate me...so while I've got her enjoy it the best I can.

and I threw out a soup can today at work trying to get rid of a nasty smell.  I did not recycle....    I have, however, refrained from knitting.

DH and I have an unspoken agreement that I get up w/the baby in the night and he gets up w/our early riser. 

Last night/this morning, I did neither.  I heard the baby cry in the middle of the night and pretended I didn't.

Aside from the paper towel issue (seeking professional help)... I feel like bragging cuz DH was interviewed for the local alternative newspaper and the story ran today. He launched a site that archives punk music from Milwaukee dating back to the 80s. I'm very proud of him.

I have not sent out all the snailmail cards I was supposed to. We got the ink today but I am bumping instead of installing it. And we overspent at Target today... in part because I got dd some shoes that would complete an outfit I have for her. They are not that EF and wrong for the season (hello, 18 degrees), but they were silver and we all know that that is neutral, right?

I get sad when my DH shaves his facial hair.  He looks so hot with some scruff.  It always breaks my heart a little when he decides to go "clean" for a while.  That's my FFC. lol

I have a friend that is pregnant and I just can not be happy for her. To the point that we havent really had a conversation in months. When she talks about her parenting practices and her Hubbies attitude toward the off spring they have already it makes me sick. But she purposefully got pg again.

i don't post much either, but i really like this board.

we have used a lot of disposable diapers lately because thomas was sick and dh had to have his appendix out last week, and i was too tired to wash cds. 

i usually don't proofread, thus i make tons of grammatical errors. sorry.
