is your mom BSC?

I know a lot of you post about MILs being BSC.  I don't have a MIL so I don't know what that's like.  However, I do have a mom who is BSC and I would say that's enough for me to handle.  Anyone else's mom nuts?

    I don't think she's full on BSC but a lot of the things she does is BSC such as Xmas b/c of her. MIL lives in CA and I get along w/ her better than my own.

    My mom's just really irresponsible. It's staggering. But I love her and we get along great most of the time. Nobody's perfect.

    Mine is too!!  It's soo hard to bite my tongue when she makes bad decisions.  I swear I'm the parent in our relationship.  Most of the time we get along great, but ever since LO came along, she's put me on the back burner and I'm chopped liver.  Not that I'm expecting all kinds of attention or anything, but our relationship has definitely suffered.

    Unfortunately, my mom does have a lot of issues.  Much of it stems from her alcoholism.  She is also still very bitter about her divorce from my dad, which was 15 years ago.  I wish we could have a good relationship, but I rarely have contact with her any longer due to a number of reasons.  My entire family has tried to help her, but she needs to want to be helped first.

    If anything, it has taught me how NOT to be a mother.  I dream of having a relationship with my daughter where we go out to lunch, shopping, pedicures.....I want to be very close with Maddy and have that mother-daughter relationship I've yearned for with my mom.

    This and yes I'd say she is BSC but in an almost funny way, if that makes sense!?
