I PROMISE im done asking you a million questions after this...

Is gout very uncommon in women my age (25)?

Do you see it often?

Am I in kidney failure?...dumb i know but everything research wise seems to think this is the problem.

  • gout is fairly uncommon at your age, and I usually see women a little older with it. However, it does not mean that you are in kidney failure. You may just be a rare and unique person. I mean, I developed JRA after a bout of 5ths disease when I was 12.....and that is VERY rare. I would follow up with your primary care doctor and see if they want to do any additional testing. And beware, the meds for gout are not compatable with pregnancy. So, do NOT take them if you are ttc. I hope that helps a little bit.
