DD is going through a terrible terrible sleep stage right now.  We've been able to make some changes to help her get to sleep, but usually DH puts her down (and he was off all last week) b/c she will go down without nursing that way.  Now that he's back at work I"m having a really hard time getting her down for her nap.  Today after she ate lunch (I stupidly did not eat while she did, I washed dishes) she WOULD NOT nap.  I tried every trick in the book.  While I was leaning over her crib turning the pages of her book I literally passed out from hunger.  So I told her "Mommy needs to eat, she is done helping you go to sleep, you will go to sleep alone now".  I went downstairs and by the time I had taken my first bite of pizza she was out cold. She was totally PLAYING ME.

Now, don't EVER skip eating again.  Hear me?  That's an order!  Snack when she's eating if you aren't hungry enough for a meal.  You never know when your next opportunity will be and you'll get more hungry more quickly now.

It's amazing how your reactions to hunger change when you're pregnant AND chasing around a toddler!

I'm quickly learning this!  I'm so used to being in diet mode, from losing weight before TTC, this is weird.  I had in my head, OK I'll give DD lunch and wash the dishes, I'll put her down, then I'll eat a nice quiet lunch alone.  LOL, bad idea!

Ha!  I know the feeling and I'm not even pregnant.  I often think, ok, DS will nap at X time and then I can eat, etc... and he goes and changes things up!  They like to mess with us.
