What do you need this time around?

I'm making a wish list on Amazon just to keep track of what I'll need and to easily tally up the $$.

Right now my list is kind of small.  What's on your list?  Maybe it will help me realize what I'm missing.

I made a wish list on BabiesRUs - just made it private so it's not searchable and people don't think it's a registry.  I need a new diaper pail, new pacis, I put on the bigger bottles for my breast pump that they didn't have last time I was a new mom.  I also know the gender of this one is different so I put some pink stuff on the list too.  I'm waiting on clothes becuase I have a lot of gender neutral stuff from DS (we didn't find out what he was), and I have a friend who is giving me all her girl clothes (her DD is 1 1/2).  I put a temporal thermometer and a battery operated nasal aspirator too.  Overall we don't need a whole lot of anything!

Since we did not keep anything from DD, we need everything....lol. So far on the list we have:

Travel System

Convertable carseats

Bouncer

Changing Pad

Thats all I can think of for now!

   I think thats it...I'm thankful I saved all of DD#1's stuff and that we're having another girl, definately cuts the list in half! I DID make a registry, mostly for my own use but also if family memebers ask what they can get I'll direct them there; but we plan on getting everything ourselves. But I want to take advantage of the completion discounts!

We kept (almost) everything from DS, so we don't need much, but this is whats on my list so far:

bottles

changing pad

stroller (I am really wanting a Phil and Teds, since DS still sits in the stroller now, but I'm sure he won't for much longer!)

Cloth diapers (we did disposables with DS)

New tubing and valves for my breast pump

bedding (this is more of a want than need, DS' bedding was gender neutral, but I just don't want to use it again)

I haven't really gone through everything yet but I know I will need a new crib (DD's was recalled) and a swing (ruined by a newly formed hole in the garge roof). Also may need a bouncer because the toys that used to hang on the bar above the bouncer hae all been lost, but we'll see if we ever get the voucher for a new crib. If we have to buy a new crib outright then I will use the bouncer without the toy bar. In addition, all of DD's bottles are chock full of BPA (old Avents), so I will need new bottles but I will wait until the new baby is born to see what type of bottles work best for him/her.

Since the big u/s was a bust at telling us the sex of the baby, I am holding off on buying any clothing because if it's a girl I will need very little but if it's a boy I may need more. We were voluntarily on Team Green with DD so we do have a lot of gender neutral newborn/0-3 month clothes. I am going to buy more crib sheets and towels since somehow a lot of those have been lost.

Because this baby is a GIRL we need a little bit more as far as clothing, etc.  I'm making a private wishlist on BRU to keep track of everything that we need.  Here's what I have so far:

-All new furniture (DS isn't ready to be out of his crib yet and I don't want to force him out.)

-New bedding set

-Changing pad and cover

-Breathable Bumper

-New onsies, clothes, and bibs

-A few new bottles (but we'll be using all of DS Dr Brown's again)

-Either a new Britax convertible car seat for baby girl or a new booster seat for DS.  We already have the Chicco infant carrier/car seat and bases that we will reuse when the baby is little. 

-Double stroller

-New highchair (just b/c we want one)

I'm sure I'm forgetting a few things!

We're in pretty much the same situation but backwards (girl first and now expecting a boy).  This is almost exactly what my list looks like, minus the breathable bumper, highchair, and car seat.

As of right now, the only thing I'm getting is a sling.  I already have replacement tubing and stuff for my pump.  If we have a girl, we get some girly stuff (clothes, bedding, etc).  DS is getting a big boy bed (twin) for his birthday, so we'll be able to use the mattress that's in his toddler bed for the crib.  If baby is a paci baby, we get some more pacifiers.

 I'd like to get ALL new stuff

We're going to try not to go all out since we have so much from when DS was a newborn. I want to use cloth diapers for the new baby, so we'll have to buy all of those supplies. We need a new dresser to move DS's clothes into. Eventually we'll get a new crib and a double stroller, but there's no rush on either of those. Oh, and I want a sling to carry the baby in.
