2nd Trimester

Am I the Only One...

who is already wearing a nursing bra? My boobs have grown completely out of my normal size (34DD) and since it is almost impossible to find a larger cup size without special ordering, I went ahead and starting looking for a couple of larger sized nursing bras. I found one today for only $8.00 (I swear it was mispriced but the clerk said that is what it was ringing up as even though online they are $40!) and tried it on. I LOVE IT. It is so comfortable and has these little pads for the shoulders that none of my normal bras have. I know I may still have to go up a size once I am actually nursing, but for $8, I think it was well worth the purchase! Anyone else?

Re: Am I the Only One...

  • I have one,but i had to buy it. I told myself I get a nursing bra when my nips where falling out of my old bras. I am scared how big they will get.I am already a 40 F with 4 months to go.

Yep, same with me! My nips were falling right out of my normal sized bra and it was SUPER uncomfortable. I am dreading when the milk actually comes in. :(
  • I'm sure you're not the only one!  I started out with a D myself and although I probably should go check out nursing bras....I'm just not ready.  I keep stuffing myself into my 34DD Very Sexy from Vicki's, and its really not working out too well anymore!

  • Sadly I finally gave into the fact that my boobs no longer had anywhere to go...they were falling out all over the place in my 32DD bra (I really don't even look that big, but I'm tall so its proportionate).

I went to the store and bought a 34DD which JUST fits right now...and an 34E! Oh that was a shocker when she brought that one out...what an ungodly size for a bra. Sadly, it fit pretty well. I'm sure it will get worse, at which point my only option is a nursing bra, so I might be in your shoes soon!

  • Frankly, I'm jealous.  My boobs really aren't any bigger than they were pre-pregnancy.  They're a little fuller and heavier maybe, but no more than they would be if I were PMSing.  It's especially obvious now since my stomach has more than outgrown them.  I've always had a smaller chest so I was really looking forward to being "voluptuous" for a change.  So much for that theory!  I say, wear that nursing bra proudly! :)

You should try a full coverage style from VS.  I worked ther for a very long time.  The Very Sexy collection isn't exactly pregnancy friendly.  Try the Perfect One, Ipex Wireless or Body By Victoria Full coverage.

  • 34E is what I have purchased too. I had to order online, though for that size. (We're in the military overseas so we are pretty limited... I know there are big breasted Germans- where do they buy their bras?!?!). The one I found today in the store was a 36DD which is fitting pretty good so far. If you don't mind me asking, what store did you find 34E? I just went up from 34 to a 36 to make up for the cup, but I have a feeling this won't last too long since I'm only 21 weeks.
