Re: what dsl-r camera do you have?

  • Nikon D90. It's more camera than *I* personally need, but my dh is a photographer and he understands how to use all of the manual settings much better than I do. But even though I don't necessarily understand all of the technical aspects, I'm still able to get great photos with it.
  • D90.   I love it because it has most of the capabilities that the pros use and the auto that beginners need; love it because it is compatible (auto focus) with more lens that the "lower" models.   Love it for the shutter speed and the pictures I take...

  • We have a Nikon D-40.  I got it because I wanted to have a DSLR but didn't want to spend a ton of money.

  • Nikon D50. I've had it for almost four years now. It's been easy to use and has been a great camera.

  • Canon XSi. I love it.

  • We just got the Nikon D3000.  I have't used it a ton but I love it so far. It is easy to use (in auto mode - I have not really used in manual).  We did a lot of research and it was between the Nikon and the Canon.  They were both pretty compatible but we got a better deal on the Nikon.  I think the D3000 replaced the D60.
  • I have a d40 and I love it.  I love that I can shoot away and not miss anything! That's probably the best thing.
