moving and feeling stressed

feeling a little stressed out but I'm trying not to because I know it's not good. We're moving out of our rental house and the move out inspection is super picky here. If one thing is left dusty or undone then we will be charged out of pocket for everything even though we paid a security deposit. It just doesn't make any sense. The charges they will make are just insane if things aren't perfect. It just looks like there in it to make more money off us. At this point I almost feel like hiring someone to clean the house that way we can control how much money were spending and I'll know it's done well. I just don't know how much energy I have to make sure every little hidden crumb from every fricken corner is gone. Ugh, I need to find out more about the security deposit.... this all just sounds fishy to me.

Find someone in the office you trust and ask them how picky they will be. Get the list of things they will inspect so you can check them off as you go! Hopefully it won't be too bad. I killed myself cleaning an apartment once because the office manager said they were picky.  The guy literally was in there with me for 3 seconds and said it looked great!  They should have to clean it out anyway to rent it again I should hope.

Just found out the other day that there was no security deposit. In fact it's not very common to have one in Hawaii because people tend to skip town and count there deposit as last months rent. Luckily we may not have to spend as much as we thought and what we do spend will be taken out slowly over the next few months. I was so worried between this and the car accident that my husband got into just last week. It's been crazy. Hubby got hit by a drunk driver who had no car insurance but thankfully he is alright. We also have no fault insurance so that helps but we have to pay an initial $500.00 deductible so I was sitting here thinking, Where are we getting the money? This is a lot at all at once and it's so stressful but things are looking up.
