I think there was a post about Luna Bars a while back and some people said they avoided them during pregnancy. Anyone know anything about this? Thanks!
I eat them all the time. Some people have said they are "bad" because they are fortified with a high amount of Vitamin A , and if you're taking a prenatal vitamin you are at risk of exceeding your vitamin A limits. But the amount you body actually absorbs, isn't close the amount that's in the bar or your prenatal vitamin.
it's because of the chicory extract (some say it will start contractions)....but i've been eating them my whole pregnancy...it's such a small amount, you're fine
