Hi visiting from the pg after 35 board. I was hoping for some advice. My name is Mary and my immediate family consists of DH, myself, baby on the way and my MIL. MIL is in a wheel chair due to diabeties complications and a circulation disorder. She is basically missing her right legg from the thigh down. He remaining intact foot is missing several toes. She can stand on her remaining leg but is not very steady. Other than that her arms are strong and her heart is big. She is so very excited about our baby on the way. I am concerned about having a crib for the baby that will work for all of my family. We are also on a budget and can not afford a custom crib with a comma in the price.
any ideas?
Re: WheelChair/ Non friendly crib
There is a crib called the "quick change crib" which has a door that opens so people in wheelchairs don't have to go over the top of the crib. It looks like a normal crib, but I think it would work for what you need. It's only $550
This one seems to have been recalled.
I looked again and I didn't see anywhere that it was recalled, but if you did then I would investigate further. It was just a suggestion, we don't have that one so I didn't register to get the update on the recalls.
