What's in cocoa butter that's supposed to help with stretch marks?

Does shea butter do the same thing? I'm trying this Olay Quench lotion that has shea butter, vitamin E and vitamin B3 (niacinamide.) I know stretch marks are mostly genetic, but what are your thoughts? Confused

    exactly this.

if its going to happen it will happen regardless of any cream or oil

  • It doesn't prevent stretch marks.  From what I know, it does help fade scars which may help after the stretch marks.  As far as shea butter, it helps fade scars too, but you must use the raw shea butter.  If you have shea butter in a lotion, it is refined and has lost all of its healing properties.
