I mopped. Its still kinda sticky. And I think we need a new mat. It got really soaked, and even though its dry, its kinda smelly. stupid neighbors.
Thomas gets in tonight for a weeks visit, and my house is a MESS. Ask cour, I sent her a picture, so she didnt feel bad about her house. lol.
How was your day?

The landlord dried the floor and celing for us while we were gone, and reattached the light. Thats much more than I was expecting.
If its warm we'll go tubing, otherwise I dunno. Neither Pat and I will have time off, so he'll be coming to work with me every day Im sure he's looking forwad to that. Last time he came, he stayed home all day for 10 days... and broke my DVD player. So, obviously, he cant be trusted home alone.
How come you were only going to do a half day? I got to go in late because the doc had a dr appt this mornning, that was nice.

The landlord did something to the upstairs neighbors apt, I dunno what. And after seeing how disgusting their apt was, offered to do some upgrades in ours. LOL. He said he's ready to start upgrading, and only wants to put them in our apt since he can see we actually take care of this place. The neighbors... not so much.
I'm thinking zero or wamer. -10 at the coldest. The slopes close at -20 I think.... You get a day pass, so you can always go inside to warm up, but why pay to stay inside all day?
Its -20 right now. But it's supposed to be 'warm' this weekend. Hows seattle?

They have tubing here along the ski slopes and we always mean to go, but never get around to it.
It's really nice here in Seattle... like mid-40s, which is pretty typical for this time of year. I'm glad to be back here actually - it was cold and snowy in Illinois. It actually snowed 10 inches the day after xmas - blah!
So are you and Pat going to give it "the old college try" this time around, or are you waiting to get through all of your visitors?
We are not trying. I want to take my PNVs for a month before we start again.... And I haven't started those back up yet. I'm thinking march/april. Thomas will be here for a week, then my friend Ryann will be here in feb over FWP time... Plus all our plans involve bars.
And then Cour gets here.... And pat and I will be sleeping on the airmatress which does not equal fab sex times. So after that we'll re-eval..... maybe. Hows that for an answer?
Tubing is fun. I prefer it to the slopes, becuse ski lifts scare me. And the bunny hill lift is a tow rope- which is exsausting! The tubing lift is easy. I like it. lol.

I'm so excited that you've got your little countdown clock rolling on something exciting at court coming to visit. That is going to be so cool for you guys.
Would you believe that I've never gone skiing? We've talked about going (again - we're all talk), but I can never muster up the energy to pay all that money to spend the entire day on my ass. Plus, we'd have to buy some gear (pants, etc), since we aren't really snow equipped.
Ive never done downhill skiing. I've done crosscountry skiing, and thats boring to me. I loved snowboarding, but I hurt myself the whole time falling, then ache for a week. I haven't been in a while, its expensive. But, we do have plenty of snow gear... obviously. And passes to tube are 40 each I think. But Thomas' will be free since he is military, and its on the army base.
Okay. I really REALLY need to clean this effin house, he'll be here in less than three hours, and I haven't unpacked. fml. Nighty night!!

Yuck... that stinks. Is your landlord going to do anything else to help get your kitchen back in shape?
You are just a visiting fool these days. Are you excited for Thomas's visit? Do you have anything fun planned?
My day was fine... much busier than I thought. I was only planning on going to work until lunch time and ended up staying all day - stunk!

Hmm... did the landlord at least fix the apartment above you?
Tubing sounsd like fun... though what does "warm" me? That seems kinda arbirtrary in Alaska in the winter. ha ha
Technically, we have off everyday from christmas eve through new years day - so I shouldn't "have to work" at all today, but alas I am. Lame
