When to Have a Baby Shower (clicky poll)

Two of my girlfriends have offered to throw me a baby shower and I am trying to figure out when to have it.  If you have already had or are planning a shower, tell me when.  If you have any advice, please share!

We had our's after ds was born. I really liked that. I don't think too many people do it that way though. It worked for us, because we didn't know the gender anyway, so when we had the shower, people knew at that point and if they wanted to, could by gender specific items.

I'd like mine between 30-32 weeks.

My sister is throwing mine and it is going to be the last weekend in March, and I'll be 35 weeks then.  That is mainly because my mom's 60th birthday is in February and we plan on throwing her a party for that.

I would think 30-34 weeks would be ideal!

I have two sets of friend who are planning showers. So far we only have a date for one; it will be when I'm around 33 weeks. The other will probably be a week or two ahead of that. At least, that's the idea--but it's hard for them to plan it when I haven't given them a guest list yet.

I had my two with DS at 33 and 34 weeks respectively (my mom's side and dad's side can't be in the same state let alone the same room). I honestly really liked it that way because then I knew what I still needed to get, and was still up to the shower games. But I was big enough around that some of the games were really fun (like measure the belly, etc).
