I am too much of a perfectionist to find the right baby calendar... so I just printed out blank monthly calendar pages from Outlook. I can scribble anything I want on them, in whatever pen is handy. And then one day I'll go back and add those things/dates/events to his baby book. You know, when I have all my brain cells back and have spent years searching out the right baby scrapbook :-)
Included in the pages is a first year calendar, complete with cute stickers. This is the perfect memory book for me -- it's not too pre-fab or cheesy, and the prompts/questions it does include are just the kinds of things I'd want to record. So the book in conjunction with the calendar is the perfect combo for me. The seller has great reviews, too.
Just thought I'd throw that out there as a slightly different option for you!

Re: Any recommendations on a good 1st year Baby calendar?

My dh got me this one for Christmas. I love it and can't wait to start using it!
