So, I think I've posted before the Brylee's nursery is all Dr. Seuss. First here's a link to the bedding so you have an idea of what I mean.
Now my question is, we know we're doing on wall with red stripes (to match the red in the blanket) but now I'm contimplating should I make them perfectly straight...or like Seuss's world make them offset and a little crooked. I want the nursery to be bright and fun. What are your thoughts? I'm getting things painted here soon, but need to decide on these stripes. Petty I know. TIA!
Re: Need opinions...please.
If you decide to make the lines "Dr. Seussy", I'd only do one wall. I think a whole nursery of crooked lines might make you dizzy.
This is just for one wall.
I was going to do two...but definitely not the whole room.
I'd never thought of something like that.
Thanks for the idea.
My thoughts for crooked or straight I was going to use painter's tape since I was free handing other stuff. But that wouldn't be a bad idea, having a rougher edge and it keep things to the Dr. Seuss theme, I think. I definitely want things no ordinary
Cool! Go for it!! I think it's a super cute idea. PS LO's name is adorable!
Thanks so much!
I knew for her nursery I wanted things to be completely different. I hope it looks good when I finish. Thank you
I agree with this. Be really careful too with "crooked" lines. If you do them I would think they would have to be really exaggerated so they don't look like you just couldn't get a straight line.
I know what you mean by the lower part. I was thinking of using that yellow color for the top part and the red stripes at the bottom if I did half and half
Very true. I can always have DH slap a coat of Kilz on it for me and repaint it
I think I have a few ideas floating arond in my mind. I'm super excited to be doing a Dr. Seuss room. I wanted something completely differen't None of that traditional all pink or all blue stuff
