SNOW!!!

Its been snowing here for almost 2 hours!!!!  :)!  Unfortunately, it will likely just freeze up tonight and be icy tomorrow and cause driving issues....but not a ton of accumulations.

    I never noticed before that you are from Tualatin! I just moved out of Portland a couple of months ago. :(  All my Portland friends have been updating their facebook statuses about the snow, and I'm jealous! We just had a blizzard here in Oklahoma, but I LOVE snow in Portland! Be safe on the ice, though! :)

    I love it here!!!  Last years snow was AMAZING!!!  :)

    Yea, my sister and husband just called to say that its pretty icy and roads are really messy right now.

    Last year was the best snow ever!! DH and I weren't married yet, and he was planning on spending one last Christmas with his parents (didn't know that we'd be moving here at that point) and I couldn't go with... so I was really excited that the snow kept him from leaving and it became our first Christmas together. :) We had so much fun playing in it, and luckily we lived within walking distance to a grocery store so being snowed in by surprise wasn't a huge deal. My bus line was totally cancelled, so I got to miss work for a week, too! haha!

    Yea, I loved it!  I missed work for just over a week....BUT, the snow did stress me out a bit as I was down to the final wedding planning stage.  (Our wedding was Jan 10th last year)  So, it made it difficult to pull things together last minute.

    In the end it all worked out perfectly.  I wish it would snow here every year!!!

    Wow, all that snow that close to my wedding would have freaked me out, too! :) Where did you get married at?

    DH and I were married in February, so no snow -- but we spent our honeymoon in Cannon Beach and it snowed while we were there!

    I live out here in Battle Ground, WA- I love it.  Big, huge flakes.  It is all white.  I love the snow.

    I am from OR - so I know how everyone freaks out when it snows (mean that in the nicest way possible).  We have 12+ inches on the ground that more than likely will not melt until April, so it is just a fact of life here.

    Awww, I used to pass that church on the streetcar on my way to school! The Aerie is super pretty, too! 

    We got married at the Kennedy School, and now it's what I miss most of all! Their Ruby Ale and tater tots are to die for....
