So my kids (I teach) are doing a flower gram fundraiser for Valentine's Day (You know - pay a dollar, send a flower to a fellow student).
So, we're planning to pick up all the flowers (carnations) around 3 pm February 11th from the florist, transport them back to the school, put them in large 5 gallon buckets with water (and the mix stuff they give you) and leave them in my classroom overnight to be given out in homeroom the very next morning (at 7:30 am).
Will they still be in fresh shape? It's basically going to be one night overnight (in water). My classroom is average temperature.
Re: Anyone know anything about flowers? I need help.
They should be fine.. Carnations are hearty flowers...
JINX! (even though I spelled hearty wrong)
THANKS...and I think you both meant "hardy"
Thats what I thought.... Oh well..
