AW: Pram score (PIP)

I've wanted a pram for LO ever since I was a little girl. As soon as we started TTC, I started shopping for one and just could not find one less than $700 new and under $200 used (and very beaten up, I might add).  I was so excited when I found this pristine British pram at a consignment store today for $45!!! I bought it so fast bc I had this crazy idea that the owner would figure out what it was really worth before I got it out the door! LOL  I'm so happy, I could cry!

I am so jealous!!! I've always wanted a pram, that's all my mom used because my family is from england (however it's now 30 yrs old and pretty beaten up).  Now I'll have to go looking at consignment stores!

Those are really cute and that is a great price for one. My girlfriend has a pink one for her daughter. Do you live in a downtown area? They do, but have only used it a handful of times.

I am so jealous too!!  I have really not considered getting one but I think they are so cool and vintage looking.  Maybe I should keep my eyes open, maybe I can found one for as good of a deal.

Aww thanks, Bumpies. I am so excited. We live in the 'burbs, so I'm picturing strolls with LO.  My sister does photography and she is already envisioning LO in a cute outfit (golf hat and overall cords, perhaps??) sitting in the pram. I'm so excited!

Definitely try your consignment shops. This lady had no clue what she had. She said she was "surprised anyone would want this old-looking thing"
