Chrissa and Chloe are finally home as of Christmas. Both girls were sent home on Apnea/Brady monitors and Chloe is on caffeine. At first I was petrified but after training on the monitors and CPR training I am slowly getting the hang of it (although I still almost have a heart attack everytime I hear an alarm). Anyone else have their little one on a monitor...how long before they come off them? Anyway they went to their first doctors app yesterday and each weigh six lbs. now yay! Oh and I forgot to mention I had to have my gall bladder removed (emergency due to the fact that I was already passing stones and had an infection, and I thought it was heartburn lol) on the nineteenth, I guess this is my way of having the year go out with a bang lol (as if an emergency csection wasnt enough). Sorry I haven't posted pics yet I've just had an insane three weeks but I'll get to it I promise! Well wishes to all and healthy births...off to feed the girls....ugh my poor nipples lol
Re: Update
YAY Congrats baby girls!
DS was on an apnea monitor for a few months after he came home...6 1/2 week stay in NICU and came home for about 2 1/2 months on monitor. and YES you probably will have a mild stroke whenever the monitors go off but from experience, most of the times were b/c he had found a way to get it undone.
Good luck and GOD BLESS!
