What are you doing for New Years?

DH and I are stuck. This is our last NYE alone without children and we want to do something nice and memorable but everything is so loud and crowded. Is anyone doing anything special in Boston? I don't think i can stand all night and good food is a must :-)

We are going the low-key route this year & seeing Avatar.  Maybe out to eat too, we'll see.  Going somewhere crowded, loud & smokey has zero appeal for me this year.

We will probably get a big dinner and go home and fall asleep before midnight.  That is what usually happens.  We aren't big party people.  I would rather spend the night playing Wii Mario Cart!

Dh is going to be out of town on business, so it's just ds and myself. My girlfriends who has 3 kids of her own and one on the way is going to be having a party at her house (including kids). She has an indoor pool, so my dad said he would come with ds and I and him and ds will probably be in the pool most of the night. They both love the water. Thanks God for Grampy's! lol.

My mom is coming in to watch DS so hubby and I are going to a party at a friends that is low key with lots of board games!

We are having a little get together at our house and I get to be in charge of cooking and being the sober one! Oh joy! I plan on going to bed when ever my pregnant-a** feels like it though. lol.

we'll probably make some yummy appetizers, play some wii & maybe watch a movie.  we don't party much!

We're avoiding the crowds (and drunk roads) and having a game night.  I'm making a bunch of snacks and apps to munch on, then we'll have all sorts of games ready to play.  Wii, Scrabble, Monopoly, or my personal favorite Squabble (you gals gotta play this game!).  We'll just lounge in our jammies and have some good 'us' time.

Yes we don't want to party either but since NYE usually involves partying perhaps we'll have a game night at our place with friends. I love Cranium!

We are having a relaxing evening in.  We will also be opening an envelope at midnight that tell us whether we are having a girl or boy

Normally I hate being out on NYE because of the people drinking and driving on the roads.  But, this year, we are going to a nice restaurant that's serving a 5 course dinner.  We are going with a group of friends.  The good thing is the restaurant is about a block and a half from our house, so we're having a "pre-party" at our house, then we're all walking to the restaurant.

We are staying in. DS will be ready for bed by 8:30, so we are getting the curious case of benjamin button through ntflix, eating some yummy food (I bought lobster meat for us once DS goes to bed) and DH will be drinking some beer, I will be making a virgin something. We will be in bed by 12:05

DH is taking to me to a fancy shmancy restaraunt (with this belly I have NO idea what i'm going to wear, none of my really dressy clothes fit anymore!) after that, we'll probably come home and toast to some sparkling cider at midnight (if I can stay up that late!)

Same as every year: stay home and watch Annie (weird tradition, I know). I seriously hate NYE, so I always stay home!
