Amen to this! While I was at least somewhat responsible at that age, I don't know that I could have handled a kiddo, especially in my early 20's.

I got married at 26. Now at 32, I finally feel like I might be grown-up enough to be a Mom. My mother was married at 19 and had me at 21, though, so I shouldn't be so surprised...

They moved back to Sweden - we are from there originally but they lived in the states for 17 years. My older sister and I are the only family members in this country now.

I got married at 22 but wasn't ready to TTC until this past year. Wow - should I have known better?!?!
Hehe, me too. I graduated HS in 1996 (although I was still 17).
I got married shortly after turning 30. However, my older sister got married at 19 and had her first child at 24 (she now has 2 kids). My younger sister got married at 22 and had her first child at 25 (she now has 3 kids).
I am so glad I waited so long. The guy I dated for 5+ years would have made me miserable if we had gotten married. DH is perfect for me!

Dx: DOR, Endo, APA+ (really high beta 2 glycoprotein antibody and high everything else tested), heterozygous MTHFR mutation, positive for lupus anticoagulant, high FSH, low AMH and both tubes blocked (per HSG on 3/8/11)
IVF #1 - long lupron (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 4 retrieved, 3 fertilized; ET 2 blasts and 1 frozen = BFN
IVF #2 - a version of antagonist with EPP (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 6 retrieved, 4 mature, 3 fertilized, 2 blasts and 1 frozen blast transferred on day 5 = BFN.
IVF #3 April was postponed to May, May was canceled. June/July was canceled. Had a cyst aspiration and then began IVF #3 in August. ER on 8/22; ET on 8/24 with AH. +HPT on 9/5. Beta #1 (11dpo) = 3; Beta #2 (15dpo) = 29; Beta #3 (17dpo) = 60; Beta #4 (19 dpo) = 118. Heartbeat at 6 weeks 6 days =132. Lil is here!
TTC#2: Trigger + TI = BFN; Clomid + Trigger + IUI = BFN.
IVF #4: BCP + MDLF + Lovenox = 7R, 1F = Transferred 1 6-cell embryo on day 3 = BFN
IVF #5: MDLF + Lovenox = 4R, 1F = Transferred 1 10-cell compacting embryo on day 3 = BFN
IVF #6: (New RE): Long Antagonist November 2014 (transferred two 8 cell grade 1 embryos and froze one blast) = BFN

Hey Mey! I love the new siggy picture. Your furbabies are so cute! Is the white dog an American Eskimo (white spitz)? My furbaby that died over the summer was an American Eskimo named Raska. She was amazing!

It is okay, I could have made a better choice. I hate that the back in so small. I can't wait until I buy a new car this year. I am waiting on M to hurry up and make his purchases so we can both start making big payments on my vehicle. I want a Highlander or Pilot.

Yeah. DH is 5 years older than me, so he was ready to get married! Plus, he said he knew he wanted to marry me after our first date; but that he waited to propose until we had dated a respectable length of time.
Even though your DH took his sweet time, he did propose! I bet the wait was worth it!

My DH is 7 years older, and he still wasn't ready! But yes, the wait was worth it. Although it was a tough road sometimes, with some doubt about if/when it would happen. I think about this sometimes in regards to TTC - if I can wait two years to get engaged, I can wait at least as long to get pregnant.
Hell yeah it was! Oh the good ol single days!

2001 - DH graduated from college and moved to another city from me. 9/11 happens.
2002 - I graduated from college and moved to same city as DH.
2003 - DH and I got engaged.
2004 - DH and I got married, moved to a new state & city (where we live now). My Grandfather passes away.
2005 - Bought and renovated our house.
2006 - TTC and got PG our first cycle trying, my Grandmother passes away.
2007 - DD was born.
2008 - DD turns a year old!

What is your greatest wish for 2010?
For another baby and for my DD to get potty trained!

1995 here. Though I just got my drivers license this year, but that's a whole other story lol.
2000 - in college finally drinking legally
2001 - got my cat, dropped out of college 2002 - started working in medical field, went to FL for spring break, LV for vacation, Grandfather died
2003 - Dad sent to Iraq with Reserve unit, moved in with my grandma, Dad returned from Iraq day before Christmas
2004 - met my DH and dated long distance, took an EMT-B class
2005 - moved to NY and started nursing school
2006 - graduated nursing school, got married
2007 - bought a house and hated my job 2008 - husband almost died from cardiac/respiratory arrest after brain aneurysm blew, jobless for 7 months while husband recovered, got second cat, got a great new job, started TTC 2009 - Stepmom and Grandma diagnosed with advanced ovarian cancer, sister pg-miscarried-pg again, almost lost MIL to choking incident, diagnosed annovulatory, started Clomid/IUI cycles and was pg for several glorious weeks then m/c'd, Grandma went into remission after chemotherapy, Stepmom responding well to intensive and experimental chemo
What is your greatest wish for 2010? continued remission/recovery for Grandma and stepmom, continued health for our families, and a super sticky baby!!
