...to introduce myself. i'm 16 weeks preggo with my first - yay! we have our BIG ultrasound on january 18 - another yay! i'm super excited, but i'm still having a hard time believing all of this is real. we've heard the heartbeat a couple of times, and i'm definitely growing "bellier", though it still looks more like i've been indulging in the x-mas chocolate (which, admittedly, i have been) than a bump. and it also doesn't feel like i thought a bump would - namely hard. it still feels mushy - ummm, not cute or sexy. i guess all this rambling is leading me to the question when did you feel pregnant? when did it all seem real? am i behind the curve, or did it take others a while to believe there was really a baby in there?
on another note - or maybe it's just the next step to feeling like this is really happening - i *think* i may have felt the baby move last night. it was just as i was falling asleep, and it was just a couple of little flutters. but it felt differently than any other "fluttery" feeling i've had. and it just lasted a second and then stopped. was that the baby? or the dreyers slow-churned?
:-)
Re: seems like a good time....
Welcome! I still don't feel pregnant so, you're not alone. I don't know if it will really be real to me till I feel some hard kicks or get a big bump.
You probably did feel little one. How exciting!
