Custom Crib Bedding

Just curious if anyone else is considering having their crib bedding made? We are going team green and I have not been able to find any bedding sets that I really like. However, there are several fabrics on Etsy that would be wonderful and are more what I was looking for. I'm just nervous about purchasing a handmade set sight unseen.

  • My cousin just got her baby bedding from polka tot and it's beautiful!
  • Yes - this is definitely something we're considering. We're also team green and I just haven't really seen anything that I love. I've been browsing several etsy sellers lately.
  • Yep! We've already ordered it.  I had something specific in mind and I just couldn't find it anywhere.  We ordered it through a baby store here, but Luv Stuff is making it.  luvstuffbaby.com

  • I'm using cribbedding.com  (aka Carousel Design).  I happen to like the fabrics on there and they got an A in Baby Bargains for quality.

Thank you for reccommending this site; the bedding is the best I've found and relatively reasonable in price for custom work!

  • I have custom bedding from Sweet Kyla baby bubbles.  The nursery will be our old computer room.  It is a turquoise color and DH didn't want to repaint it after only painting it about two years ago.  We went with a mocha brown, aqua and pink color scheme.  That way if we do end up with a girl we have some pink but if it's a boy, then it's not overly pink.  The bumper and dust ruffle are in aqua (we would've done brown but with the furniture being darker, it would've been too brown).  I'll post a link since I can't seem to post pictures correctly.  If I figure out how to post pictures, I'll post one.

We only saw samples of the colors but didn't actually see any of the bedding at the furniture store we purchased it from.  It turned out pretty nice.
