About chili cheese fries!? I said Iw as making some and I've had three people as why would I eat that?? Don't some places serve chili cheese fries on their menus now?
I'm from Cincinnati and we have Gold Star and Skyline some of the greatest chili. And, my dad had some from both places shipped to me. So I'm making one of their most popular dishes, chili cheese fries. I understood when I told them 3-ways was spaghetti, chili and cheese. But aren't the fries normal??

i think you responded to the wrong post lol
You'll have to PM it to me.
Thanks so much!
We have a DQ. But, no Steak and Shake and no Sonic. Least not here. Maybe in like Fargo or Bismark.
I noticed a long time ago, in Cinci we call em cheese coneys. Up here chili cheese dogs. When I tell DH I want a cheese coney he looks at me like I'm nuts. He's from Minnesota.
That's so funny - but you're right - few people understand! I went to UK and had a bunch of friends from Northern KY, and Cinncinnati, so I'm well-versed in spaghetti/chili.... but my DH just doesn't get it... and I don't think he ever will, lol....
Enjoy those fries!
Chili Cheese Fries are definitely a normal food in my opinion. I always see it in bars, and my H makes it for himself when I am out of town.
Also - my H is originally from Cincinnati and is obsessed with Skyline Chili. I can sometimes find him cans or frozen boxes of the chili in the grocery store. We always have some on hand for when he needs a fix. I had never heard of chili on spaghetti before him!
I think it Cincinnati chili is weird, so I leave it all for him.
Chili cheese fries sound so good right now.
