2nd Trimester

What's on your registry?

Mine seems...sparse.  I'm having three showers (my family, DH's family and a work one).  I'm very grateful for them and want to make sure there's enough stuff on the registry for people to have choices IF they want (but not so much that I look like I registered for every baby item ever made haha)

What's on yours?

  • This is our first and we both have alot of family. We have a stroller, pack n play, bouncer, swing, extra car seat base, bottles, bottle cleaning kit, receiving blankets, bath stuff, bedding, toys, car mirrors, etc.
  • Honestly, ours is more of a list of what we need, since this is our 2nd boy.  I'm planning on us purchasing the big things, but I did make a registry because I know work is going to throw me a small shower, and maybe some of our out of town family will send us stuff...???

Big things - Travel system, bouncy seat, play mat/gym thing (if I can't find DS's!)

Everything else - bottles, mat for pack in play, crib sheets, diapers (my favorites were the pampers swaddlers), onesies in various sizes up to 6 months...

I think that may be about it.   Oh!  And then I also posted last night that I added a couple of fitness related items for myself to get into shape after the baby Stick out tongue lol.  They are small and inexpensive.  If no one buys them, oh well!

  • We haven't registered yet, but i have begun thinking about it....and I am thinking the more stuff the better and at different price ranges.  People love to have options, and the more options they have the better.

  • Everything we may ever want or need! I didn't really bother putting clothes on because 1.people will buy you those anyway and 2. I'd rather get something that is going to last the baby a long time than an outfit that will last 3 weeks! Plus, by putting everything we may want/need on it you can get the discount after the baby is born! :)

  • This is my 2nd...so not as much as you'll need! Here is what you might want on there

    Stroller*carseat, maybe 2 one for each of your cars*swing*bouncy seat*pack n play*exersaucer*bumbo*highchair*floor gym*recieving blankets*crib*mattress*bedding set* mobile*nursery decor* dressers*changing table*rocker/glider* crib sheets(can never have to many of those, trust me)*diapers (disposable or cloth whichever you're using)*formula*breastpump*nursing pillow*bottles*bathtub*bath accessories(washcloths,grooming set,soaps,lotions,powders)*baby wipes*wipe warmer(if you want one, I never had one thought they were pointless)*baby monitor*bibs*burpclothes*extra bottle nipples*nursing pads*lanolin cream(for your nips!)*toys for baby* clothing! you can never have to many sleepers, or onsies!*baby socks*diaper bag

Thats all I can think of for now! Register for newborn sized diapers and size 1. They grow fast! I reccomend pampers swaddlers for the newborn stage, but by 3-4mo move onto huggies, they absorb more!
