15 week and movement update.

Well went to DR yesterday and everything looks good. LO was moving all around like he/she was dancing (takes after me) and it looked like it was waving. So cute. I asked Dr about the taps and she said I wouldn't feel anything yet.. it was prob gas. But i am convinced it was the baby and it happend again last night.I think that little hand is punching me. Heartrate was good 147 Told the dr we did NOT want to know the sex. I think it is a boy though

Yea!  Fun   My dr was skeptical that I was feeling the baby at 16 weeks too- No way it's gas!  I may not be a dr, but I can tell the difference!

I think your DR is crazy. I started feeling my LO move this past weekend (I am measuring a week ahead for size though) so that would mean about 15 weeks growth... and now I'm starting to feel him move more often too.

I don't why doctors/midwives are so conservative with the whole movement thing...my midwife told me not to expect to feel anything before 20 weeks, seriously? I started feeling flutters just before Christmas...can't be positive its baby yet, but I'm expecting it to become more definite within the next few weeks.

Silly Doctor. My OB asked I'd I was feeling the baby yet. I let her know I had for a few weeks now. She nodded and smiled. I felt DS early on too. Not all that unusual. HTH

If your dr. read any books, HaHa, it says you can feel movement anytime from 14 weeks on.  Granted, it also says, that this is not very common.  MOst women do feel movement about 20 weeks.  I thought I started feeling things around 14 weeks, like flutters.  I am almost certain that is what it was, not gas.

She said more likely when it is the first u wont feel anythng until 20 weeks. Everyone is different - I think I felt the baby and I am sticking to it!!!

Strange your doctor would tell you that's not possible.  When I went in for my 12 week appt my doctor asked me if I had felt movement yet and I am sure I looked at her like she was crazy, but she said some women do indeed feel movement that early.  I am pretty sure I felt the first little flutter/tapping last night at 15w...
