2nd Trimester

Ok...confession...

So, I have Sesame Street on right now...doing baby registry online...and just being lazy...it's really cute...especially when my puppy perked up when he heard "Spot" barking...he looked a little confused (I mean as much as a fluffy puppy can look confused)

Anyway...I'm going to have to get better about motivating to clean/organize/shower/etc. if I'm going to be a stay-at-home-mom with any value to my family!!

Of course, I only have a week of nothing and then back to the job that I currently hate...so, I'm hoping that's why I can't motivate...but, that's another post...

  • Enjoy your time while you have it.  I am a SAHM and find myself slacking all the time.  Honestly, I will do all the dishes at one time, pick up the toys after playing is done (instead of constantly on them to pick up) - laundry is typically a morning thing but DH is working nights, so I need to wait until this afternoon (read - less laundry per day) - the washer/dryer is right next to our room.  Our house is usually clean but never picked up.  Being ready for company really would only take 20 minutes top to bottom.

  • I'm lacking motivation right now. DD is napping and I should be folding laundry, but I'm watching The Price is Right and shopping online.

  • Um, I'm at work and have been on the Bump all day.  Seems unmotivation is all around!  I have the next two days off and besides putting away Christmas my plans include my couch, our new netbook, and as many episodes as Supernatural as I can get through.

  • Ooooh what i would give to be a SAHM. I wish. Or at least work PT. I am away to long I think.

But there is nothing wrong with relaxing and doing nothing. I do it sometimes too on the weekend. And looove it. :)
