I have mine this afternoon and they didn't give me special instructions (e.g. coming in with a full bladder), but on previous u/s they did tell me to have a full bladder. Any idea on how much water you're supposed to generally drink prior to the u/s? Also, if there's something else I should do in preparation? TIA

My instruction sheet says to have a full bladder but when I called to make the appt., they said that's not necessary.
Several friends have told me to have a little OJ so the baby is moving and you're more likely to be able to see the goods.
Also, don't forget your VHS or DVD so they can record (if that's an option at your center).
GL!
A DVD? what would they record, just everything that the tech looks at during the u/s? I've never heard of this but it sounds interesting. Maybe I'll bring one just in case they do do it.

Alittle OJ if baby is sleeping and a CD.
My doc puts the pics on CD for us.
I also don't need a full bladder, she usually asks if I want to empty it....plus I have to do the normal pee in a cup at the beginning of the appt anyway.
