The other second+ time moms can add their own experience to this, but the diaper bag post reminded me of something. When DD was born, we found both diaper bags and insulated 'coolers' for milk/formula just seemed to show up from everywhere. (The hospital, the pediatrician, the OB's office, the grocery store baby club...plus if you've signed up for any kind of information or freebies anywhere your name gets sold out to the formula and breast pump companies, who start sending you stuff...) They're nothing fancy/designer, but they certainly work if you're looking to save money, and most of them were nice enough (a few had the logo of some company plastered all over, several were very tasteful!) and got the job done.
Re: Saving $$, Diaper Bag
Completely agree! I will be using the one from the hospital, and DH will use his $30 Texas Longhorn man bag......
