AHHHH!!! Vent...

Just need to get it all off my chest because I have had 3 days of *** and I cant stand it anymore!

I worked all weekend stayed 3 hours late on saturday and 2 1/2 hours late on sunday. Im a vet tech and our patient list included (but was not limited to)

a forgein body removal surgery (it was a tampon in the intestine)

a pyometra surgery (where an unspayed canine females uterus fills with pus and has to be removed) after the surgery the uterus actually opened up and I still have that smell in my nose.

3 chocolate ingestions

1 kidney failure dog, complicated by chocolate ingestion

2 laceration repairs

a fractious cat in a diabetic crisis that went ape-*** any time we even looked at it.

I was shiit on and had to change my scrubs at least 3 times. and those are just the patients who stayed in hospital. Not to mention all the ones who needed bloodwork and x-rays. Today wasnt any better. My dog started chattering (which can be a number of things) and then I came home to find they had opened the upper cabinets in my kitchen only to eat a loaf of bread and a brick of bark chocolate! Now I have to do laundry and pack to go visit the in-laws who I can barely handle already. This could get interesting.....
