If so, can you please tell me about how long a serious break out could potential last? I have tried a steroid cream, some powder and a pill in case it is a yeast skin infection and am now at the stage where I need to get an oral steroid. I am about to skin myself. My arms and stomach are flaming red rashes that itch constantly.
And until this happened, the only spot I have ever had this crap was on my ring finger. I have NO idea what caused this ginormous flare up.
Re: Anyone have eczema?
I've only had one crazy breakout of dermatitis like that. It was on my face and it was GROSS. Ew. Seriously. I was completely baffled by it until I found out a few weeks later I was pregnant. I'm now guessing it had something to do with the hormones, but it's still bizarre.
It took probably a week or two to go away completely, but it wasn't itchy.

I wish I could tell you how to fix it, but I can't even fix my own. I had some super strength steroid cream that worked great for a while, but does nothing for me now
you just started the celiac diet, right? I think sometimes it gets worse before it gets better. So that might be related. OR you're eating something newn as part of your new diet and that's causing it.
I don't have chronic excema. just acute reactions to things (wax, christmas trees) and I need an oral steroid for those. It clears it right up.
are you seeing an allergist?
DS has been like that for months. He literally scratches until he bleeds! We have a dermatologist appt for mid January. His skin is like a lizard it's so blotchy and scaly. Ew! It's so gross and I hope the derm can do something for it!
I hope something can be done for you, I can only imagine how annoying it is! GL!
