I haven't had to buy diapers yet (until this weekend) thanks to diaper showers and baby showers and wonder which place has the best prices. Does it just depend on sales and coupons or is one place typically always the best or are they all pretty close in price? I don't really care what kind. We have used a variety and haven't had any issues with any.
We found 2/$70 for 140 count and you got a $10 gift card back. Plus I had a $5 off coupon. So it came out to $27.50 for 140 Huggies. Is that a good price?
Re: Not trying to be an AW but now I need some input.
costco sells huggies that you can compare the price to. I buy the Kirkland brand which is cheaper than huggies. You can figure the price per diaper to see if you're getting the best deal.
And score for not having to buy diapers for two for so long! I made it about 4 months, huge savings!
We Buy Luvs and they are awesome and half the price of Pampers and Huggies, we tried both target and babies r us brand before going to Luvs.
The target brand worked great till she got really mobile then we had major blow outs, the babies r us brand was awful
Costco/Sams sells the big boxes for only a dollar or two cheaper than BRU or Target and they do NOT take coupons. I get them at BRU for three reasons:
1. Coupons! They have their own coupons and also take a manufacturer's coupon for the same item so you get to double up!
2. Promos - they often do the $10 giftcard when you purchase 1-2 cases of diapers or some combination of diapers wipes. I save those up and use them for more stuff later on.
3. When you buy 9 value boxes you get the 10th free! That's $40 saved right there! (we get pampers, started with swaddlers and now use cruisers)
Occasionally you'll see Target mimicing the $10 giftcard promo and they also take manufacturers coupons. I go there to get the Premium Absorbancy Pampers that DD uses for overnight since BRU doesn't carry that variety but for the regular diaper purchases I go to BRU.
This exactly, minus the premium absorbency thing.
