More often then not I chance DD on the floor. She has a changing pad on a dresser that I have used maybe twice. She moves way too much. We also have an ottoman in our living room I just keep an waterproof pad on and change her there sometimes.
DS is 'off the charts' as far as height goes! I just change him on the floor or bed.
You can buy those packs of disposable pads (I reuse them though) at medical supply stores....they are usually blue or green, the oens you probably used at the hospital.
Re: Need advice: long baby and short changing table
Would I be crazy to put a waterproof pad on the bed every day and just use that?
I honestly just don't think I can do the floor with my bad back. It's hard enough for me to get down and play with him/pick him up and down.

That would work too!
