I always forget I have a brother.

FFMC, I suppose.  Smile

Seriously, I always forget I have a brother.  It's weird.  I keep thinking that maybe we'll be closer when he gets older, but nope, not yet.  I realized yesterday that I forgot to send him a Christmas card.  I remembered all the aunts and uncles --and even that old lady who sends our grandpa baked goods-- but not him  Poor bro.

Tongue Tied

  • If it's any consolation I got everyone a mother's day card this past year...but forgot my SIL (yes, the aforementioned spoiled brat). To my great surprise I actually felt guilty and made up a story about how it must have gotten lost in the house somewhere. I'm sure she saw through it, but I did go to CVS the next day and got one and mailed it with a note that said I 'found' it in with the tissue paper....

LOL, nice.  DH's grandparents do that for his birthday all the time.  At Christmas, he got his birthday card that his grandma "found on the dresser" while wrapping presents.  His birthday was in August.
