Hair Color Q

When my girls were born, one had dark hair like DH; one had strawberry blonde like me....

However, they both kind of lost the tops of their hair (St. Francis monk look!) and the dark haired twin stayed dark but the light haired is coming in a light brown, I think?

When does the baby's hair color set in? (i.e. will it stay the color it's growing back in as or change again?) And while I'm asking, when does the baby's eye color set in?

Hair color is an ever changing thing.  Mine has never been the same color for longer than 6 months (and its not due to dye).

M&Ks hair has already changed several times. And as for eye color...they say around 6 months is when they change if they are going to but DD#1 didnt start changing until she was 3.
