Is there any way to guess what size nursing bra you will need before your milk comes in? I am a 34G right now, so I am limited in where I can purchase good quality, supportive bras. I can't imagine waiting until our son is born to pick something up. How does this work?
Feel free to laugh...i feel ridiculous!

Re: Just thought I'd ask...
Holy cow a 34G! If you were here in CA near me I have place that custom makes bras, it is called the wizard of bras, but I don't know if they have a web site or anything. Sorry wish I could help.
So excited you are almost ready to meet your little guy!
Preface this with the fact that I have nursed all three of my children for two years each....
I have always had nursing bras in several sizes. You will be engorged and HUGE in the hospital or in the first days at home, but after you get established you should go back to the size you are during pregnancy. I have always nursed my kids so long that I actually need a third size after they get to the point where they are introduced to food and taking more nutrition that way. (Lots of people never get to that point!) If I were you, I'd buy one that fits now and one in a larger cup size. Good luck!!
I'd suggest getting one in the next cup size up (and not an underwire) and also second the suggestion that a more stretchy 'sports bra' type one works well right after your milk comes in.
Bravado bras has a good description of size changes on their website:

I am a 40F and am in the same boat...I plan to wear nursing tanks the first week or so until my milk comes in and then order the correct size online. Since most good bras my size and larger are in the $50+ range I want to be sure I get the right ones.
I will be home from work for 10 weeks and then phasing back into a fulltime work schedule in the 7 weeks after that, so I figure if I am just at home a nursing tank should suffice until I figure it all out.
