If you have a sit and stand, can you come in please.

Couple questions.  Can the infant seat clip on in the back or just in the front?  Is there straps on the sit and stand part to secure the toddler in, if not mine would just get up and take off all the time.  Do you recommend one with a second removable seat?  Thank you!

  • You can only strap in the infant seat up front. There are no straps in the back. You can get one that converts from a standard double to a sit-n-stand. The back seat has very little leg room though. We bought it off one-step-ahead. Never used the second seat due to my son's height.

  • On ours the infant carrier just snaps into the regular stroller seat part (up front but rear facing) and the toddler sits or stands in the back part nearest to the parent.  Mine has buckles that you can use to secure the toddler if you need to.  Mine is 3 so he hops on and off at will unless told otherwise.  I use the strap/buckle but he knows how to get out.  We use the straps mostly to secure the toddler when we start and stop strolling....because if he's not paying attention and I start pushing he'll fall out.  I can't answer the part about a second removable seat because I'm not sure if I've ever seen that feature.  I'm pretty sure mine does not have that option.  GL!

  • The one I have is the second one down.

Don't know how to make it clicky :( I've also seen them at Target.com. I will say that the customer service at one-step is great. They replaced my entire stroller after I left it outside and some pieces started rusting. No questions asked.

  • I have the joovy ultralite, but it's basically a sit-n-stand.  Anyway, infant seat only can clip on the front.  Back seat is not removable  (didn't know there were ones that they had ones like that but it would be nice).  It's not too much of a pain without the removable seat.  And yes, the back seat does have straps but they're not the most durable so I don't know they'd hold in a squirmy toddler.  My girls do well with it and can even squish to share the backseat when needed (like when the new baby comes to get us through a parking lot).  Anyway, love love love my joovy!  Got it from Albee for a really good price a few months ago.
  • We have the Baby Trend with the removable second seat.  The infant seat only straps onto the front.  There are straps for the regular second seat and the bench seat.  This stroller actually holds all 3 kids.  The baby is in the front, DS sits on the bench seat facing forward with his feet dangling in the basket and DD stands on the platform.  It also has 2 canopies which is nice because it is usually pretty sunny here.  I love this stroller and I am able to take all three kids out by myself with it.

This exactly. I have the Baby Trend Sit n Stand DLX in Silverado. I think it was recently renamed Baby Trend Sit n Stand Plus. It is on Baby Trend's website. Oh, and it does have a removable seat in the back. It goes over the bench that becomes the "sit n stand" part.

  • I have the Baby Trend one that comes with the extra seat in the back.  It's the exact same stroller as the One Step Ahead one.  The infant seat only clicks into the front, though I've heard of people placing it in the back without any problems.  I got the one with the extra seat because #1 was only 23 months when #2 was born, so I thought he wouldn't be ready for the sit 'n stand.  As someone else mentioned, there is very little leg room in the back seat, so he hated the seat.  We just took it out and never even used the buckle for him.  He was fine either sitting or standing and didn't really try to get out.  #2 was 18 months when #3 was born, so I thought we'd need to put that second seat back in, but I tried just buckling him facing the back on the jump seat, and that has worked for us.  That way, my oldest can occasionally hop on to stand for a ride as well.

For us the extra seat in the back has been unnecessary, so I would just get a regular sit 'n stand.
