Soooo bummed.....

And I really have no one to blame but myself (and DH) I suppose.

We bought DS a play kitchen about a month ago at Wal-mart (that might have been our first mistake) that had clearly been opened but we didnt know if someone opened it and returned it or just opened it in store to see what it looked like. All the parts were there (or so we thought) and the kitchen was on sale so we had the plan to buy it and if they got anymore in, we would just exchange it.

Well, we are dum-dums and didn't do any of that. Its been so crazy here that we honestly forgot. So DH goes to put it together tonight at 9:30 p.m. Christmas Eve and there are NO screws to put it together with (and, yes it is supposed to come with screws)!! I guess it is apparent now that it was brought back but whoever did forgot to re-pack the screws that are used to put it together.

Ugh. It was supposed to be DS "BIG" gift. I was really excited to see him run to it tomorrow . Thankfully, he won't know the difference and we did get him an easel and a pop up tent/tunnel. We will be marching to Wal-mart on Saturday but still. The play kitchen pics are bumming me out...

Ugh   That really sucks!  Do you have screws in your toolbox or anything that match the screws in the kitchen?  We've had to do that sometimes.  Can you at least present the box to him so there will be that "big" gift?
