Because of the ear infection that never ends.  Crying

Jack just got his about a month ago.

It has changed our lives...I am so glad we did it! Jack only had one ear infection but it ended us in the ER. Turns out he had what is called "glue ear" and that doesn't cause pain but can muffle sound. I also think it made his balance bad. He started walking for the first time about a week after that after not being anywhere even near letting go of the furniture. I have heard this from others as well.

GOOD LUCK and it is worse for you than it is for them :-)

  • poor kiddo. sorry, but it will be for the better!
  • Oh, poor W! I hope they do the trick.

Sam is on round two of antibiotics to fix the double ear infection from hell. We go back on the 19th to make sure it's gone. If not, tubes are on the table for us too. ?

This was us. Three rounds of anitbiotics, and still no help. They finally gave him 2 shots of antibiotics two days ago, as a last resort. But we still have to get the tubes anyways.

Aw I am sorry. :( Jax got them on Friday after being diagnosed with six ear infections since October.

It's really not that bad, and he already seems to be a much happier baby.

I hope they work for Willis! Page me if you have any questions about it! I just posted pics of the day of his surgery in my blog if you're interested.

I am going to check your blog out right now. Wow, six ear infections?! Poor guy. The fact that he seems happier gives me hope.

  • I know I am not on this board, but had to schedule tubes for my 4.5 month old today.  She is having tubes done on Thursday.  What did you do to get through not being able to feed Jax for 8-12 hours prior to surgery.  We are not sleeping well right now (4 month wakeful, I think) and I don't know how I am going to get through waiting until surgery at 10:30 am on Thursday.
