Graco Pack n Play with vibration-Question!

I am visiting from 3rd tri, but I figured I should ask you all- since you are more likely to have your pack n plays up and working!! I am trying to get ready for baby- in a nesting mood, and am grumped out b/c I cannot understand why the cord (that plugs into the vibration piece that is under the mattress) does not reach the side of the pack n play to plug into the little music/lights/vibration unit. My husband was too irritated to deal with it, and I have been sitting here for 30 min. trying to figure it out. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, how did you fix it- if you did?! I am sure I am missing something, b/c what idiot would develop something specifically for a product and then not make the cord long enough?

 Sorry- it's just been one of those days- I put batteries in my precious planet mobile and it sounded like all static (so I have to take that back). Then I went to put up the valence in the baby room and someone had taken the screws/hangers out of the package, but I didn't notice the big hole in the bag when I bought it!!!! ahhh!

I can't help you with your question but I hope everything works out for you. I would be pretty pissed and either start throwing the stuff or have a crying fit if all that happened to me that day.
