    It went great!  I really like our caseworker, very easy to talk to.  I think we are going to go get fingerprinted today, because we are both off work.  I need to go through all the paperwork, and figure out what DH needs to fill out versus me.  Where are you in the process again?

    I'm glad it went well! :) We are completely finished with the homestudy and are just waiting on our Caseworker to get it written up and approved! She's on vacation this week and we just had our home visit last Friday so she's hoping to have us approved next week or early the following week! :)

     When I got all of the paperwork, I went through and filled everything out and signed everything I needed to do and then had my DH sign his. I'm WAY more organized so I didn't want him messing it up! LOL The fingerprinting can take a while so I would definitely get those done ASAP!

    So we got our fingerprinting done, and now I am sitting down filling out all the paperwork I can.  Miraculously I found my original birth certificate.  DH has no idea where his is, so we might have to contact the hospital, if his mom can't find it either.

    That is so exciting that you are almost active!  Hope your wait is short!

    Good Luck with the paperwork! It looks overwhelming at first but it really isn't THAT bad once you get into it! I hope you can find his birth certificate! We didn't need our original.. just a copy but we had the originals from a cruise we took earlier in the year so we were good on that. 

    Thanks! I'm just glad to be finished and almost officially "waiting." Now we have to get started on the nursery! :)
